Lamiera is a sound installation by Alessio Dutto.
Through the use of found objects and field recordings of the wind turbines overlooking the Mongia valley, the work tries to tell a story of materials and the soundscape of the place.
A material and immaterial history that intertwines with the distant past, the closest one and the present, all through simple manipulations, in a minimalist key, leaving room for the imagination and suggestions felt by the users.

The rusty plate acts like a time machine, or like an alchemist's study, transforming the clean, modern sound of the wind turbines into a new, sublimated sound; it becomes a border point when the sound, crossing it, goes beyond time and completes its metamorphosis, transforming itself into something new that refers to the past of the place.

This is the unedited but looped recording of the installation placed in Chiesa di San Pietro delle Bianche, Viola Castello, Italy.
